5 yatris among 10 injured in twin Gbl accidents | KNO

Ganderbal, Jul 14 (KNO): At least 10 persons were injured in separate road accidents in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Thursday. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an accident took place at Satrina Kangan when a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK01Q-8625 driven by Mehraj-ud-din Mir, son of Abdul Gani of Budgam on way from Kangan to Baltal collided with a Tempo traveller bearing registration number JK08B-3008 resulting in minor injuries to five yatries, who were on board in Tavera. The injured have been identified as Manisha Parohit, daughter of Mohan Parohit , Urmila Parohit, daughter of Mohan Parohit, Divya Mohan Parohit, daughter of Mohan Parohit, Anupurna Parohit, wife of Mohan Parohit and Usha Kelash Parat, wife of Kelash Parat—all residents of Maharashtra. All the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kangan for treatment. However, the tempo driver has managed to flee from the scene of occurrence. Reports reaching KNO said an accident took place at NHW near Haripora between Alto bearing registration number JK01P-3008 and Ignis bearing registration number LA01-0368 in which about five persons were injured and were shifted to SDH Kangan for treatment. The injured persons have been identified as Asif Bashir, son of Bashir Rather of Haripora Ganderbal, Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, son of Ghulam Mohammad of Drass, Zainab Begum, wife of Ishfaq Ahmad, Ramez Raja, son of Muhammad Shamim Khan of Gutlibagh Ganderbal.
